Canadian singer/songwriter David Blair kicks off his first ever synthpop release ‘Way Of Life’ with a fan driven tribute to people’s life passion
Co-written and Produced with Swedish Producer/Artist ‘Oscillian’
Official Release Date 31/7/2020
Influenced by the driving synth bassline from Swedish Producer Oscillian (Nina), Canadian ex-patriot singer/songwriter David Blair takes a step in a new direction musically from his 13 years of acoustic roots with a ‘synthpop’ anthem of love #WayOfLife. Inspired by the lyric “love is a way of life with you, love has a face that matches you” David reached out to his fans with a request for their help to make a music video via Instagram and Facebook with a sample video of his own doing some of his other passions like playing basketball, working out, and recording in studio, with a sign simply stating “This Is My #WayOfLife”.
The final anthemic outro in the song swoons “I’m living for you” a tribute to love as a way of life, which is the real motivation for the asking of fan participation; to bring attention to people’s passions that are expressions of who they are. Immediately receiving contributions from all over the world, David’s been posting regularly on his social media what has been submitted for the final video which will come out the same day of the single release, July 31st, 2020.
It’s a feel good summer song that leads us on a journey from being trapped in ego to being freed in the presence of unconditional love. Co-produced and co-written, David wrote vocals, lyrics and rearranged the original track sent to him to suit his style and portray the message of love as a #wayoflife.
