In 2009 I booked my first ever tour for my original music! It was a very ambitious one for not having a fanbase built up anywhere really outside of Vancouver - and of course a little ridiculous - but it was a journey I needed to take in developing who I've become!

 

Me and my manager at the time called it the 'By Donation Tour' so that I could book the tour to the States legally as it was only by donation. This tour would take me all the way to New York City and back over 3 months driving alone.

Some 12,000 km trip. Roughly 120 Hours of driving alone. Two weeks into the tour, I was in excrutiating pain in my back and in my sciatic nerve as I got sciatica from so much driving.

 

I thought it would be just fun and games but it definitely tested me in many ways as life would have it.

 

Here is what I was up to early on the tour - chatting and interviewing people along the way! The albums I was promoting at that time were 'Things Left Unsaid' which was released in January of 2009 and 'Hard To Control' from the summer of 2007. Enjoy!
